I have 20 feet 1/2 chain....chain is very heavey..... should I add more
line? "Capt. Mooron" wrote in message ... If it does get torn off.... you still have 20 feet of floating line [yellow/ 1/2"] to snag. That won't rip off. How deep is the mooring? Is there lots of traffic over the mooring area?

10 feet of poly.... pick it back up at low tide. The chain will lay to the
bottom. CM "Bluenoser" wrote in message ... | Mooring is 12-15 feet deep at high tide..... | Hardly no traffic......none in winter time.... | | "Capt.
