Joy soap suds in salt water - it can also be used for showers and washing hair.

I think brown eggs last longer than white ones. Coating the shell with
vasoline, grease, nail polish, etc. to keep the shell from ''breathing''
will keep them fresher. Keeping eggs in 'lime water' is an old trick.

Joy dish soap.

I guess, but I don't recommend it. There are commercial soaps
out there that do work with salt water.

I guess, but if you're interested in salt water washing you're either out in the boonies
or living very cheap - probably both. Joy still is, I think, still the detergent of
choice for the vagabond set.

No need for wax, Vaseline, or other messy means. Put the eggs in egg
cartons and turn them over every other day. The albumin in the egg keeps
the inside of the egg naturally coated to prevent air from penetrating
the egg shell and allowing the egg to spoil. You can keep eggs 4-6 weeks
with this method. It is best to use eggs that have not been refrigerated.

You must start with eggs that have never been refrigerated. Coat them
with wax.

I've upgraded to New Dawn - it leaves no sticky film.
Try it, you'll like it.
