My e-mail to Doug was returned, stating his ''account is temporarily over

Scotty Hi Scotty, Great Pics of storm damage you posted. I like the boats fighting pic. It reminded me of a time in the Indian ocean when I had a steel LCM hanging on a boat boom and some divers tied up next to me and did not put on a guess warp. The lagoon had a nice squall blow thru that night and the next am they were missing most of the port bow of the fiberglass over wood divers boat. My Steel LCM was hardly scratched. Sounds like Doug is enjoying his vacation Scotty. Doug is smart enough to listen to marine weather and find a safe place to ride out a storm. Storms have a way of cleaning out the area and making post storm crusing enjoyable, blue clear skys, ect. I always turn around and sneek in a few more days, hours, mintues, and even seconds. If Doug is in any type of trouble is most likey due to the fact he bought a single screw trawler and put all his trust in a single mode of propulsion. If he is overdue, most likely he is stuck in a backhole marina waiting on parts. Thats why moter sailers like mine are the most reliable of all vessels ever to sail the seas. Joe MSV RedCloud- Never been towed- and towed many. Alway get where I'm going. "Simple Simon" wrote ... Honestly, I chafed my gonads |
