Wind wasn't as strong as predicted. Sun is out now. Looks like we dodged her. Now waiting to hear how my boat is doing. Water is 8' above MLW! MLW?? Good news - sounds like it eased up very quickly after making landfall. Regards Donal -- |

Feeling a bit grumpy today, Bob? What's the matter, fatso? Did Suzanne get vertigo after deciding that she would like to try it "on top". Regards Donal -- |

MLW = Mean Low Water. Have you never seen a chart?

However, I regularily deal with 12m (39 ft) tides - so 8' above MLW would the the average height less than 2 hours after low water. If you said 2' higher than MHW, then I could see the problem. Oh. I'm a bit 'edgy' today. Still have no word on how my boat faired. I
believe the tidal range for the Chess. Bay is only 2' (?). So 8' above even MLW is a big deal here. Scotty "Donal" wrote in message ... "Scott Vernon" wrote in message ... MLW = Mean Low Water.
