Missed your original post but picked it up on the faked mystry post...

No I've never been to Oz but drank with a few Ozzies and Kiwis. Heard
stories about riding dirt bikes in the out back and shooting "Roos". I saw
one play the Australian Bagpipes at a party... he grabbed the house cat and
tucked it under his arm, grabbed a back leg in each hand after the putting
the cat's tail in his mouth... then tugged alternately one each leg while
squeezing the cat under his arm and biting down on it's tail...... it
lasted for about 5 seconds and I admired his tenacity considering the bite
and claws to his back from a yowling cat.... but the real laugh was when the
Dyke that owned the cat flattened him with a beer bottle to the nose. She
beat on him till the cops came... Ha Ha Ha... can you spell
A-m-b-u-l-a-n-c-e!!! I've drank with them up north at some of the toughest
bars and they can party with the best. They can hold their liquor better
than the Yanks but ain't too good at bar fights. [I was on their side lucky
for them] One was dead accurate with a 12 foot bull whip... that was
impressive. Then again he was impressed at my axe throwing ability.

Look Oz.... even in Yellowknife we keep the airport fenced. I had a friend
who worked there illegally in the outback at some sort of post in an
Aboriginal Community. He said the whites were more racist than anything he'd
ever encountered. He said your women are nice and the guys tend to act like
pigs around them which made it easier for him to score. Another buddy went
to New Zealand to kayak and then toured the coast of Australia before
heading for an extended stay in the Whitsunday Islands [sic] . After a
couple of months of living off the land and paddling Island to Island he got
a job on a metal ketch taking tours out to that location and worked passage
back to the mainland.

If I ever get another job and make enough to travel I'd like to go down
there for a visit.... although I doubt I could afford to hang around in the
places you're accustomed to frequenting. Maybe you can have your Chauffeur
Flip Me the Bird while you drive by... I'll know it's you that way. :-)
