It's a beautiful thing, isn't it? Consider the fact that
this functional hunk of bronze is probably older than
you are and have a little respect for your elders, please.

Hey, stupid, don't you know that winches ratchet?

Only an idiot turns a winch 360 degrees so he can
fall overboard doing it or lose the handle overboard.

The most beautiful thing about it is that the winch handle can't be turned because of the bimini.
Obviously this winch never gets used to trim a sheet, which is hardly surprising on a boat that never
sails.

Hey Cappy...

Here is an ad from our Dallas paper that may be of interest to you...

"Coronado 27 10Hp electric start, 2-spd wenches, 3 sails, $3200 (972)
292-1300"

Looks to come complete with female crew. Two birds, one stone...:)

So's a 1955 GE Toaster. Don't want one of those either.

Fall overboard????

As opposed to the idiot who mounted the bimini so that the sheets cannot be led fair to the winch, nor the
winch handle turned....

Anyone who actually sailed would have forseen this problem.

As I said, it hardly matters on a boat that never sails anyway.

Perhaps your ignorance can be forgiven because
snapshots don't show angles too well but the
bimini frame in no way interferes with the run of
the lines.

Yes, the frame does make it impossible to turn
the winch handle through 360 degrees but, like
I said, that does not matter. The handle turns freely
through more than 180 degrees and that's plenty
enough to ratchet a sheet up tightly.

Hey, I'm sorry if I'm not as stupid as you are.
I am smart enough to realize not being able to
turn a winch handle through 360 degrees is much
more preferable than sitting in the sun getting
skin cancer. But, then again, I guess sitting in
the air conditioned pilot house of your trawler
provides you with plenty of shade so what would
YOU know about a bimini.
