I got to see the Bertie the Bunyip show in Philadelphia when I was a kid. As
it turned out, Bertie was never his friendly or chatty self until some
strange man shoved his big hairy arm up Bertie's ass. The kids were
traumatized by the scene, but I remember how Bertie's perpetual smile
stretched from one long floppy ear to the other.
