I generally leave the reef in if the Queen is along.
I just can't believe that Lisa is that wimpy. How could a woman be married to you and still need a reef in for "protection"? Mr. Sails is a reef fanatic when we take OP's out on the boat. Says he doesn't want to terrorize them. Heck...I say give them the full effect. Either they'll sail well, or they'll stay home next time. Besides, there's the insuklt factor. As soon as some people see you reef and ask you why, they think you think less of them for not being sailors. They will gut it out if you let them. Of course, I think roller coasters are relaxing, too. -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A.
