No, Donal, I said what I said. My top speeds that day were 7.5 kn
dead down wind, in the lee of Sandy Hook, wing and wing in a calm sea in 18kn apparent. 8.2 kn close reaching in 4 to 6' beam seas, 26 kn apparent. Well, Marc...hope for some good wind Sunday and maybe we'll see 9 knots...or at least 7! Miserable and rainy here today with plenty of thunder. We're heading out anyway at 6:00 to get some work done on the plumbing...something's funky with the main pump for the sink/shower. Donal's doing the best he can. He's a Beneteau owner. RB |
