How much of a drain? My electric Lavac uses about 3 Amp-minutes for a long flush - that's
one Amp-hour for 20 flushes. However, there are times that we don't want to fill the holding tank too quickly. Then we follow the adage "If its yellow, let it mellow; if its brown, flush it down." Maybe I'll use that as my sig when I converse with Peggie ... -jeff "If its yellow, let it mellow; if its brown, flush it down." or maybe not. "katysails" wrote in message ... Electric Head: We had one on the 27'...they are a real drain on the battery so only flush when using the engine.... -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A.
