Hi Vincent

I live in Rugeley about 8 miles from Stafford.
Stafford and Stone Canoe Club is on the River Trent at Stone which is a
small town about 10 miles north of Stafford.
They are very much a slalom club. They may do other things but I don't
think they do.
Stafford Canoe and Watersports Club are a club that dabble in most
canoeing disciplines, and is run by the canoeing instructor from the
local leisure centre (Mike Twitchen). Most members can be found at the
leisure centre on Sunday evenings between 6.00 and 10.00 PM.
Apart from indoor lessons they run trips to various venues, mainly in
the Midlands, but also to other countries as expeditions.

If you are interested in canoe or kayak racing you could take a look at
Gailey Canoe Club which is about 8 miles south of Stafford based on the
Trent & Mersey canal. I have a phone number if you want it.

I was a member of SCWC but moved to Gailey as they specialised in racing
which is my interest.

Hello,
thanks for the answer.
I paddle for 12 years now, i had practiced slalom and wildwater competition,=
but now i just paddle in whitewater.
If the SCWC run trips in whitewater i think i'll go there...
