Default kayak in stafford

=A0Hi Vincent

=A0I live in Rugeley about 8 miles from Stafford.
=A0Stafford and Stone Canoe Club is on the River Trent at Stone which
=A0is a
=A0small town about 10 miles north of Stafford.
=A0They are very much a slalom club. They may do other things but I
=A0don't
=A0think they do.
=A0Stafford Canoe and Watersports Club are a club that dabble in most
=A0canoeing disciplines, and is run by the canoeing instructor from the
=A0local leisure centre (Mike Twitchen). Most members can be found at
=A0the
=A0leisure centre on Sunday evenings between 6.00 and 10.00 PM.
=A0Apart from indoor lessons they run trips to various venues, mainly
=A0in
=A0the Midlands, but also to other countries as expeditions.

=A0If you are interested in canoe or kayak racing you could take a
=A0look at
=A0Gailey Canoe Club which is about 8 miles south of Stafford based on
=A0the
=A0Trent &=A0Mersey canal. I have a phone number if you want it.

=A0I was a member of SCWC but moved to Gailey as they specialised in
=A0racing
=A0which is my interest.

Hello,
thanks for the answer.
I paddle for 12 years now, i had practiced slalom and wildwater competition,=
but now i just paddle in whitewater.
If the SCWC run trips in whitewater i think i'll go there...
