It is vital that you check the area you wish to canoe in with
your local council's rights of way officer, who can help with most sections of river that pass through their patch. You can also try the N.R.A. Don't think you can just paddle anywhere there are land rights to contend with and also rolling rights to the water. I have heard of people in our area who have been shot at !!
