@o13g2000cwo.googlegroups.com: I've got an old Aquaterra Chinook that I want to sell, but I have no idea what it's worth. It hasn't been in the water since '03, and the bottom is a bit crazed, however I'm sure it's still seaworthy. I bought it used around '95 for $800. It's seen a lot of use, but it's been taken care of. I live near a college campus, so I don't think I'll have a problem selling it. I'm including 2-section paddle, 2 sprayskirts and a pump. Any suggestions how much I should ask for it? Even though the Chinook is somewhat of a classic (I believe it was pretty much the first polyethelene touring kayak), given the oilcanning (have you tried fixing that), you're probably not going to get much more than $400 for the package. |
