Hi

Does anyone have experience with the waterproof cases WPD* made by
Canon for the ixus line of cameras?

What I in particular would like to know is, wether it's possible to
turn on the camera when it's inside the case?

I looking for a digital camera I can take kayaking carrying in my PFD.
Opening the waterproof case to turn the camera on is not an option in
choppy waves.

best regards

Check out the Aquapac cases at www.aquapac.net. Yes, they are in the UK
but their service to the USA is outstanding.
