away.jpg Bill, I hope I don't sound critical, that's not my intent, but do you suppose that some judicious cropping on such large pictures along with a little noise reduction would help them? Those pictures are posted in two sizes as are all mine over the last few years, even in .vintage-engineering That shot was taken with over quite a vast distance in the lighting conditions of winter Red Sea. The attached is one of the same scene (I take several and process the most promising) before processing. A lot of the noise is effectively put there or left there because I do what I can to maintain detail. Noise reduction is a blurring process. K |
