Bill, I hope I don't sound critical, that's not my intent, but do you
suppose that some judicious cropping on such large pictures along with
a little noise reduction would help them? See my tweak and let me know
what you think. Thanks.

Those pictures are posted in two sizes as are all mine over the last
few years, even in .vintage-engineering

That shot was taken with over quite a vast distance in the lighting
conditions of winter Red Sea.

The attached is one of the same scene (I take several and process the
most promising) before processing. A lot of the noise is effectively
put there or left there because I do what I can to maintain detail.
Noise reduction is a blurring process.
