Default Tug - MISS KATE 4-15.jpg

Several times each year a dredge contract ends and the equipment used
goes back to home port , in this case Norfolk , VA . Either before or
after the actual dredge , crane and work barges are towed usually
in a caravan .

Here the MISS KATE followed by the little tug Norfolk
pass west bound in the C & D Canal towing barges used in dredging
operations that ended last April ( 2015 )
