Default ANNOUNCEMENT

Beware of a man trying to buy boats posed as an "agent" to another. He will
claim to be out of the country as well as his "client" and offer to send you
a cashiers check for the purchase price PLUS shipping that is arranged by
him. Once you receive that cashiers check, he will ask you to cash it and
send the remaining monies to his so called shipper. This cashiers check is
fraudulent as is his "client". This scam has been taken on boat dealers as
well as individuals selling boats online. The cashiers check we recieved
was drawn out of a bank in West Virginia and sent to us from Tennessee.
After calling the bank, we found the check to be false. This is a great
scam. Please be aware.
