Biden was correct.

And it didn't take six months. More like under 24 hours.

Looks like Russia is the first to start beating the drums, looking for a
response from Obama.

Since Obama is not president of the United States, it more likely is a
test for the lame duck who is.

Nope. The announcements today by the new president of Russia were
purposely delayed by a week to coincide with the election and the potential
of an Obama victory. They also have demanded a one on one with Obama
within the next few weeks .... well before he assumes office. It's a test
of his future policies and will, pure and simple.

You flunk.

Perhaps the Russians ought to call Sarah Palin, who has much familiarity
with them, for advice.

BTW ... (I forgot) ... the noise and threats from Russia include:

1. Blaming the situation in Georgia on the USA and insinuating a Russian
response.
2. Blaming the global economic meltdown on the USA and insinuating a Russian
response.
3. Installing missiles and electronic jamming equipment on the Polish
boarder in response to our
plans to provide defensive missiles in Poland.
4. Demands to meet with Obama prior to his assuming office.

The new Russian president, under the watchful eye of ex-KBG honcho Putin, is
on a new course. Destination is the establishment of a new cold war at a
minimum.

Hey. We are playing by *your* rules here.
Bush doesn't count anymore. Just like Clinton didn't count when it came to
9/11 according to you.
Your established position is that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch, so it's his
fault.

Clean slate on Jan 20th (and before if the Russians get too pushy).
Your rules say whatever happens will be on *his* watch. He's had two years
to get ready.

As opposed to what? A tired-out old Vietnam warrior who is a decade
past his intellectual peak and a ditzy broad from Alaska who thinks she
has foreign policy experience because she can see Russia across the Strait?

Once again, I remind you that if anything happens between now and the
third week in January, it is Bush that has to deal with it.

Nothing will happen before Bush leaves office. He has a reputation for
being trigger happy.
Our enemies are more interested in what Obama will do and they are feeling
him out.

Tough job. Why anyone would want it is beyond me.
