Send Sarah Palin, she knows all about Russia ;-)

I hope the Russians understand that for the next 75 days it
isn't
Obama, it is still Bush and has nothing to lose at this point.

Obama is a brilliant pol, and he is surrounding himself with
the best of the best. Whatever serious challenges arise will
be handled better by the Obama team then similar problems
were handled by the Bush team. Bush screwed up every serious
problem he faced.

Obama is a brilliant community organizer, He is a convincing
speech presenter. He might even be a good lawyer. Did he ever
practice law? As a Pol., he didn't show up for work enough to
be measured. As a president, its anyones guess. I hope your
projections for him come true, but I don't have much faith in
the rantings of a far out left winger.

You're not really relevant anymore. Besides, you live in a Blue
State now...maybe you and the rest of the right-wing extremists
ought to move to Mississippi.

Your life is so simple for you Hairy. Never a gray area.
black/white, democrat good/republican bad, think like
Harry/ESAD, my stuff good/your stuff sucks.

I'd bet you would vote for a conservative if he belonged to the
democratic party.

I no longer even consider voting for Republicans. They are not to
be trusted to act in ways that further the aims and goals of this
country.

Obama is far more conservative than I am.

1 You prove my point
2 That is hard to imagine

I don't vote for those who describe themselves as "conservatives."
I did vote for Richard Nixon once, but he was hardly the sort of
crazy conservative that fill the ranks of the club of those who
call themselves conservatives today.

Let's simplify this for you. I would not vote for a self-described
"evangelical," or someone who opposes Roe v. Wade, or someone who
believed in creationism or someone who opposes rights for gays, or
someone who believes in warmongering.

Modern "conservatives" have ruined this country. The smartest thing
the Republicans could do is shut the door on evangelicals.

In other words you wouldn't vote for a Christian. Christians are
evangelical. Obama claims to be Christian. What the heck is going on
here. Someone's lying.

But, he's one of the good Christians. He is a Christian hating
Christian.

It all makes sense now.
Like Harry is a bigot hating bigot, or an asshole hating asshole

You two really are idiots. As everyone has long suspected.

An industrial sized can of Lysol might do the trick.

Obama is a brilliant speech giver, capable of appealing to the emotions of
the masses.
He has yet to prove that he is a brilliant politician (unless moving people
to tears is all it takes, in your mind. Hell, rock bands can do that.)

Harry, didn't you notice a change in Obama's tone during his press
conference last week?
Interestingly, it followed his first official Intel briefing. It will be
hard for people like you to recognize at first, but I am willing to bet that
Obama's policy concepts will begin to sound more and more like existing
foreign policies. The "package" may change for effect, but the contents
will be pretty much the same. Sorta like the "New, Improved" labeling on
products in the store. Same stuff, different package.

If you don't believe it, take a look at Congress. There you find a bunch of
blowhards reciting party line rhetoric and condemnation of Bush's policies,
yet, when it comes down to the wire, the money keeps getting approved by the
same hypocrites to continue them.

I predict that Obama will announce a few "big" changes to justify his
supporter's votes. He'll call for the closure of GTMO, and he's already
joined Pelosi in talking about a bailout of GM. But, the rest of the
political balance of power in the world is dangerously critical and if he
has any brains, changes will be slow and discrete.

Oh, and if you qualify, don't hold your breath waiting for a tax break.

Well, he did run a brilliant campaign. That says something about his
political skills.

Historically, foreign policy has been bipartisan. It should be no
surprise if Obama returns to that concept. Of course, that will require
rectifying Bush's blunders.

The credit goes to David Axlerod, IMO.

Have Bush's policies been bipartisan? They seem to be when funding is
required, but quickly disavowed.
What ever happened to Pelosi's 100 day "plan"?

Watching Scarborough this morning as I type. He and Mike Barnicle just
finished discussing how Obama's perception of the world has likely already
changed following his initial Intel briefing. Expect symbolic changes, but
nothing of substance. Only thing is, people like Pelosi and Ried will stop
complaining.

Yeah. Then you'd have something to read... Like "My Pet Goat"
