Default Update on my wife's condition.

Well, this past Monday and Tuesday, the wife went for follow up tests
in Decatur IL and Effingham. After drinking a jar of Barium, and being
subjected to about any test that they can run her though a tube, we're
now waiting on all the results. We meet with the specialists on
Wednesday of next week to find all the results, so seeing we live in a
McDonalds drive-thru society, its the proverbial "hurry up and wait".
But that's OK, too.

So far her cardiologist says that there doesn't seem to be any heart
damage from the radical chemo-therapy which is a great sign, and she's
gaining strength daily, her attitude is improving, but she's still
sore as all get out because the chemo is effecting her joints, but
that too is gradually alleviating. Her hair is growing back and I
suppose to women that is a large part of the attitude. It's growing
back thick and is past the "fuzzball" stage and looks pretty nice,
actually.

Many thanks for all the well wishes from the regulars on the board,
and also for prayers lifted up on her behalf from the believers.

Special thanks to JohnH, Scotty, Capt. Francis, and Richard, for
encouraging emails and phone calls from those who have been baptized
by fire. Like I've said in the past... When a family member has a
cancer, everyone involved has cancer too. It's not pretty and weighs
heavily on those surrounding the patient.

Loogy, JimH and Reggie have openly asked about her state on the board
which I'm very grateful, and I've received kindness over this concern
from Vic, Harry, Don White, Cal Bill and Wayne B. as well, in which I
am truly obliged, and please forgive me if I've left anyone out.

So, until I find out anything more, that's the way it is at the
moment.

Thanks guys, I've been blessed.

Default Update on my wife's condition...THUMBS UP!

Hey, we went to her cancer specialist this morning,a nd got her test
results. Well, so far the Dr's believe she is in remission. which is a
great sign!

Of course, we're not done yet, for there will be future testing, some
blood work and she has an apointment set with a nutrition expert to
help get into shape after this gawd-awful bout and treatment.

But she's not scheduled for any more examinations till January.

Wow!

Thanks guys for all your wonderful support in this matter.

It's meant a lot to me and mine.

Tim

BTW, if the weather is good this weekend, she has reconsidered and may
feel up to boating on the lake this weekend (weather permitting),

I feeeel good! (Wadda-wadda-wadda-wah)

Happy boating....
