Even some of the Chrysler models benefited from the brief association with Mercedes. I agree with your previous statements about BMW. The competition is getting better, but for a while the difference in performance, handling, and quality of a BMW overshadowed most of the other offerings in the same approximate price range. I had several and enjoyed every one of them. Some find it hard to understand, maybe because they don't share the same level of interest, but I buy cars because I like them and not because they conform to what somebody else says I should drive or how much I should spend. It's also the reason I am not a Democrat. :-) Eisboch |
