palin's approval has been dropping like a rock. on 9/11 there was a 14
point spread in her approval/disapproval rating. today that difference
is 4. and she's the 2nd least popular of all pres/VP candidates (only
mccain is less popular).

of course, it'll be wonderful having a sportswriter with her finger on
the nuclear trigger if the 15% chance her boss has of dying plays
out....

It's hard to believe she ever worked as a sports*writer*. The few real
sportswriters I knew in my newspaper days could actually write.

I've love to see a 527 tv ad in which Palin is voice-overed with the
quote she stole from Pegler, followed by a close up of RFK, Jr.,
narrating a version of what he stated above, and adding in a bit more
about Pegler's notorious anti-Semitism.

I saw McCain on TV at a rally this morning calling for laws to "clean up
the mess" on Wall Street, or something like that. That's kind of funny,
a "conservative" calling for governmental regulation. Maybe he'll ask
his lobbyist campaign staff for help in writing the legislation, in
secret, of course. Meanwhile, at another rally, Palin was still lying
about earmarks.

Where are you finding the Palin ratings? I haven't stumbled across those
yet.

and i laughed when i read mccain's statement. it's the textbook
definition of chutzpah: the kid who kills his parents then throws
himself on the mercy of the court as an orphan...
