Welcome back Chuck, You should congratulate Tom for having the foresight to banish Krause before he had the opportunity to destroy your board. What Krause is doing here, he will do there given half a chance. What's funny is that of all of the recent posts over at Chuck's they are ALL on topic. When you take a certain person out of the equation, good things happen! |

Hey Jimbo......You were also permanently binned by Chuck, although you found a way to get around that and post under a different handle. |

A closely moderated boating newsgroup would be nice. But, of course, most of the Little Schitts wouldn't have any reason to post. A group of intelligent subscribers willing to make a modest effort is all you need to completely control the direction of any newsgroup. It's been proven time and time again. Moderated newsgroups are for people like Scotty who are not bright, and don't know how to keep things on track without using gestapo tactics. |

I've seen it done elsewhere. It can be done, but as I said, it requires a little effort and a moderate level of intelligence. It will never happen here. |
