The cause was the same... the paint used had been changed, either for "improvement" or, I seem to recall environmental reasons. Whatever it was, the problem was resolved. Eisboch Before my time. I had no problems with my outdrive, but I didn't keep my boat in a slip either. I like having the boat on a trailer, in my driveway! -- John H. Wonder what the neighbours think of that?
