...has come and gone. Actually, we got just a trace of rain and
little wind here around Lake Murray, SC. It's a beautiful day, and
I'm headed out to clean and repack the last two bearings on the boat
trailer axles. Some others along the coast aren't as fortunate, so
stay safe!

I am heading out in a bit for the boat. Plan to hang out on it during the
storm as it hits up here later this evening.

If it goes as typical, the weather guessers will have hyped the bananas out
of it, but right now they are forecasting sustained winds of 50 mph with
gusts over 60 mph along the southern coast of Cape Cod (Buzzard's Bay).
That's enough to make me go down and double up the lines, at least.

I'm looking at the Accuweather radar. It's showing the worst of the 'storm'
over DC right now. The branches of the big oaks out back are barely
fluttering. The rain is little more than a heavy drizzle.

Don't get too hyped.
