This is a perfect example of Harry's feel good charity. He draws them in
close with food so he doesn't have to get dressed and go outside into
the woods to view the wildlife. Soon they will be getting into his
things and become destructive varmints. At that point he will probably
poison them or shoot them. What a guy!

I guess he will have to put the food bowls on top of Stumpy so he can
shot them easily.

I am heading out in a bit for the boat. Plan to hang out on it during the
storm as it hits up here later this evening.

If it goes as typical, the weather guessers will have hyped the bananas out
of it, but right now they are forecasting sustained winds of 50 mph with
gusts over 60 mph along the southern coast of Cape Cod (Buzzard's Bay).
That's enough to make me go down and double up the lines, at least.

I'm looking at the Accuweather radar. It's showing the worst of the 'storm'
over DC right now. The branches of the big oaks out back are barely
fluttering. The rain is little more than a heavy drizzle.

Don't get too hyped.

Careful. You're making fun of my Alma Mater. They're just setting up the
gamblers for a big fall. Watch the spread. That's all I can say.

You went to the University of South Carolina?

Didn't know that.

USC usually refers to the University of Southern California, BrownieBoy.

South Carolina is usually initialized as:

http://www.sc.edu/

Wrong. They even did a promo a few years ago with "THE USC" as the
tagline.

Everyone in the southern states knows that when they hear USC it's
South Carolina, not Kaliforna. Everyone else is just wrong.

You may want to tell the good folks at the University of South Carolina
not to refer to themselves as USC, they seem to have it all screwed up.

From the University of South Carolina's web site:

"The reasons USC athletic teams originally chose their colors and the
moniker "Gamecocks" are obscure.Garnet and black have always been USC's
athletic colors ..."

If you notice, it is VERY common for University of South Carolina to be
referred to as USC. Sort of similar to the University of Georgia being
referred to as "Georgia", "UGA" and "Dogs".

What do they call your alma mater?
