At the moment, it is raining steadily here, not what I would call a
downpour or close to it, and the wind out of the NNE is gusting from about
2 to 10 mph.

Based upon the bowl of leftovers (now empty) I put out last night for the
foxes and raccoons, I'd say we have had between a 1/2" to 3/4" of rain in
the last 12 hours.

My guess is that we are in the forward weather band area of the tropical
storm.



We've been having intermittent periods of really heavy rain all morning
here. Radar shows it's the outermost bands associated with the storm.

The Cape Cod Bay side is not supposed to be bad, but the Buzzard's Bay side
is.
