...has come and gone. Actually, we got just a trace of rain and
little wind here around Lake Murray, SC. It's a beautiful day, and
I'm headed out to clean and repack the last two bearings on the boat
trailer axles. Some others along the coast aren't as fortunate, so
stay safe!

I am heading out in a bit for the boat. Plan to hang out on it during the
storm as it hits up here later this evening.

If it goes as typical, the weather guessers will have hyped the bananas out
of it, but right now they are forecasting sustained winds of 50 mph with
gusts over 60 mph along the southern coast of Cape Cod (Buzzard's Bay).
That's enough to make me go down and double up the lines, at least.

At the moment, it is raining steadily here, not what I would call a
downpour or close to it, and the wind out of the NNE is gusting from
about 2 to 10 mph.

Based upon the bowl of leftovers (now empty) I put out last night for
the foxes and raccoons, I'd say we have had between a 1/2" to 3/4" of
rain in the last 12 hours.

My guess is that we are in the forward weather band area of the tropical
storm.
