D'oh. Roe v. Wade is the law of the land. Roe vs. Wade is a judicial interpretation. If Congress ever grew a pair and enacted legislation Roe vs. Wade would disappear with the stroke of a pen. Looks like a law to me, do you have a citation that says otherwise? It is better to say it is "the law" not "a law" Many people confuse statutes with law. Statutes, treaties, Judicial decisions and binding regulations are all "the law" In the case of the particular decision, it is a constitutional interpretation so it cannot be overturned by a statute Vince |
