From Gallup:
Gallup Daily: Obama Moves Ahead, 48% to 42% Democratic candidate gains in Monday through Wednesday interviewing PRINCETON, NJ -- Democratic candidate Barack Obama has gained ground in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking average from Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and now leads Republican John McCain among registered voters by a 48% to 42% margin. Yesterday it was even or a one point spread...today...this. Absurd. *Daily* tracking polls are worthless. Rasmussen, another daily tracker, shows a one point spread, but it did not poll Wednesday, and only two thirds of its daily "poll-ees" were contacted after Michelle Obama spoke at the convention. How many of those heard Ms. Obama? Who the hell knows? If you want some polls that are a bit more accurate, look to the non-national state by state polls. -- No way, no how, no McCain! |
