I doubt you have the intellect or education to understand this:

And on MSNBC this morning, Chuck Todd sounded off on the “likely voter”
results that Gallup reports in its "tracking poll":

“[Frank] Newport, editor of Gallup, a good pollster … even has a warning
in USA Today this morning that says don’t believe the likely voter,
follow the registered voter model. They report it anyway. … But the
point is, is that this is — a good polling organization like Gallup,
okay, these guys are in control of the gold standard of polling. They
can’t figure it out. I think this is a warning to everybody that polling
this year is very difficult. … Everything should be taken with a grain
of salt.”

Got that?

The national polls are very flaky at the moment, and have been for a
while. The state by state polls seem a lot more real.

Spin it any way you want. Two days after the announcement of Biden,
into the DNCC, and you are bouncing down,, it's a real good sign for
America...

If McCain wins, and he won't, come see us in a year or two and let us
know how the McCain health insurance plan is working for you.

i cain't (and won't) confirm, nor deny that to be true, though.

The only important poll is conducted on the first Tuesday in Nov. but if
Obama had a lead in the polls, can you imagine who would be cut and
pasting the polling results on a daily basis?

I was really surprised with Bill's speech last night, he was as good as
he ever was. It really doesn't matter if you agree with Bill or not, he
was able to deliver a great speech. If he was half as good during
Billary's campaign as he was last night, she might have been the Dem's
candidate. He sure was out of it during her campaign. Talk about
sticking his foot in his mouth at every campaign stop.

If you're interested, these two sites can keep you up to date. Election
Projection, I believe, had McCain up last week.

The "national" polls are pretty much meaningless at this point. They
make for headlines on the cable news networks, but they fluctuate so
wildly from day to day that they really are next to meaningless.

Some of the state-by-state polls, though, are very interesting.

My original prediction stands...if Obama wins Virginia, then you can go
to bed, because the results are known...he won. If he loses Virginia,
we'll all have to stay up later. At the moment, Obama has about a 1
point lead there, well within the margin of error.

It looks to me as if the Dems accomplished what they wanted at the
convention, to come out of it unified and at least 98% behind Barack
Obama. Hillary was absolutely masterful, Bill was damned good, Biden was
good and will get much better as he adapts to his new speechwriters.
Interestingly, and probably because they want to appeal to independents,
the Dems did not engage in the sort of Karl Rovian personal attacks on
McCain that the McCain forces are trying to use again Obama. I did enjoy
the lines about how McCain has so much experience but no judgment. :)

I expect Obama to hit it out of the park tonight, and it is one hell of
a big park.

I wonder how many times next week the Republicans will tell us that
"John McCain was a prisoner of war." That must have been where he
decided he was against torture of prisoners, before he later decided he
was in favor of it.
