Actually, China, Russia, and the United States are all heading in the same
direction, towards a repressive society operated only for the benefit of
the very few very rich.

Are you and Larry related?

Eisboch

I doubt it. I don't blame any of the mess we are in on Jews or Freemasons.

You know how those guys in uniform are...they think their toys are
special.

I know somebody like that.

Owns a Porker, Pointer, Boinker...

Parker - that's it - Parker. :)

Except for the uniform part. They tried to put one on him but he ran away
muttering "Look at my broccoli stem. I can't do it" (*)

BTW .... Uncle Z is considered by many (me included) to be one of the
worst things that ever happened to the US Navy.

Why is that?

While CNO, he instituted many liberal "social" changes in the Navy that
really did nothing to improve the character or spirit of a military force.
He was famous for his "Z-Grams" which were issued on a regular basis, much
like a modern day Blog.

Others may disagree, but I don't think his policies were productive.

When I left at the end of '67 everything was shipshape.
A bottle on board was a major scandal, and got one 1st class busted to
3rd.
When I did some reserve duty in '75 guys were getting caught with LSD
and pot, and when I visited my old can it was listing 15 degrees.
And the fireroom was nasty. Asked the top watch if he could show me
the valve for the 2B boiler casing steam smothering system, and he had
no clue.
But that kind of stuff only sinks a ship.
What I hold most against Z is putting every swabbie in a Chief uniform
for dress, and replacing dungarees with black close weave crap.
They eventually went back to bells.
Nothing more comfortable than a well worn set of dungarees.

Nearly everyone at alt.folklore.urban has been posting under their
real name for years, in some cases more than a decade. There are no
known cases of this causing any problems. So why bother with a handle?

Casady

Because certain posters here, such as "Reggie," realize that if they
posted with their real names, someone with low brain output like Loogy
would "track them down," knock on their front door and punch them in the
nose for their never-ending snarky comments.

Couple years ago, there was some idiot who claimed to be a Thai living
in Canada who threatened to come to my house and knock in the front
door. I assured him I would blow his head clean off his body with one of
my shotguns. Further, the local sheriff assured me that I would be well
within my rights, even though at the time my recollection is that the
"castle doctrine" was not the law in my state.

It's the loud-mouthed cowards and schittheads who hide their IDs here.

If memory serves, Loogy is so stupid he thinks that my posting with my
initials is my attempt to post anonymously.

There are a few Harry Krause's in MD, I am the only Reginald P. Smithers
III in rec.boats. Unless you post your Name, address and telephone
number, you are more anonymous than I am.
