Isn't that wonderful? We have announced to the criminal community that we
have a cop that's easy to catch and kill because he doesn't meet certain
PHYSICAL STANDARDS all cops should meet before putting on that uniform and
must KEEP MEETING if he wants to keep the job.

How is he going to arrest and confine the guy with the shotgun trying to
kill your family? He's not. He can't!

It's rampant in all states, just like SC, here. We have a whole army of
overweight cops in the North Charleston PD that rival the Michelin Man in
spare tires around them. They're not going to run down any skinny 23 year
old drug dealers, either. Physically fit criminals simply laugh at them
and outrun them. The force has very few YOUNG, PHYSICALLY FIT, STRONG and
IMPOSING cops on the force. Those that are soon get disgusted with the
good ol boy network trying to kiss up to Sgt Pillsbury Doughboy eating his
5th Krispy Kreme since he came on watch.

The "news" report is good PR, as is hiring the handicap. But, SOME jobs,
like police officer, security guard, soldier, Marine aren't any of
them....

Just watch. He'll be soon promoted so he can fly a desk at HQ....over
those guys who have done their turn at the wheel chasing bad guys and
being
shot at....

Physically fit young cops never get promoted. SOMEBODY's got to chase
druggies in the street, right?

Hold on... they said he graduated the program at the top of his class.
Sure doesn't sound like a political correct hiring.
Because of his one disability, he's likely to work hard at staying fit
rather than join the other "Michelin Man" troopers.
I'm sure his dad will keep an eye on that.
