Hi, This is Bridget. Just wanted to let you know how much I
appreciate you asking how I am. I had the last of my radiation
treatments last week. Still without a voice from those but am gaining
strength daily. I still have Phase III to complete but am hopeful
that it will be less invasive to the good cells than the chemo and
radiation have been. Thanks for asking and thanks to all for your good
thoughts and prayers.

Thanks guys. and thanks for the compliment, Jim.

Yes, I did ask Bridget to make a post, so i turned it over to her.
Poor thing is sunburned on the side of her neck and back from the
radiation to the point where her chin is starting to blister. Her
voice is little better than a "squeek" at the moment, but in a couple
weeks it should
start to come back. Hopefully this dreaded disease and treatment is
all but over with, and life can get back to normal. The bad thing is
that it seems that even if you get a good review, the docs say that if
you can make it for a couple years without a return then chances are
your
done. The bad part is that with this radical treatment (chem/
radiation), is that in a few years leukemia might show up due to the
damage to the bone marrow. So from now on out it's one day at a time.
But that's ok. We know where our faith lies, and even though we're
still in an uphill battle, all is well.

Thanks for asking, and like the wife said. Thanks for all the good
wishes and prayer.

Chemo and radiation are tough treatments and can test both of you in terms
of your strength and resolve.
The benefits, however, are well worth it in the long run and soon become
distant memories.

We also extend our best wishes for your wife's speedy recovery. Mrs.E. is
going on over 12 years now
since her last treatment cycle and remains completely cancer free. Hang
in there! It's worth it.

That's good to know about Mr. E. Richard. Hope she does well for ages.

Hope all around here has the same outcome, too!
