Pretty please. At least a few letters in it's name. Good. Since I was asked I won't be accused of spamming. C-Organizer Pro. Few things I would improve on. 1. More calendar views - only has monthly. 2. Birthdays in address book can throw reminders, but don't bold on calendar. Solution: Make BD a recurring appointment. That bolds it. 3. Hot button to invoke e-mail client for an address entry sometimes doesn't work. That's a bug to me, but no big deal. I'll eventually find out what's causing it, or there will be a patch. Every thing else works fine, and the reminders have already "saved my ass" a couple times. I've got most of my stuff in there now, and the import from CSV is the slickest I've seen, and I tested at least 30 PIM's. Easy to customize address book contents, so every family member and friend doesn't have a bunch of empty "business" fields. This is the only one that allowed easy import from Excel, where I had most of my stuff. The links to banking/business sites are now in there too. Anyway, it's free to try, and works for me. --Vic |

Seems it has only two slots, one with two gigs, the other with one gig. In order to upgrade to 4 gigs, I'd have to trash one gig and buy two. Hell with it. We'll see how it works with only three. Good luck with Vista! I can still get XP Pro at a decent price if you want to scrap that OS. |

What does Gateway have that's better for $500? http://www.buy.com/prod/gateway-m-67...duo-processor- t5450-3072-mb-250/q/loc/101/208033962.html $1300 computer, refurbished, for $579. This isn't a laptop, it's a mainframe in a laptop case....an amazing machine. I like refurb'd computers because their parts are already burned in. Any failures have ALREADY happened and the REFURB shop has already replaced them. They are better than new.... read the reviews....there's 57 of them at Best Buy, alone and it gets over 4 stars out of 5. Computers this fast should come with seatbelts....(c; For XP laptop, I like AMD X2. Call me nuts but like them a lot. |
