Apples and oranges, but when I pull Yo Ho, I get about 12 mpg with my V8 SUV. I think we are pulling about the same weight, too. Of course it does. You are the master. My old 24 ft cuddy cabin runabout weighed a little over 5,000 lbs, 6300 lbs with aluminum trailer. We trailered it 1400 miles from CT to FL behind my 4.7L V8 Tundra, averaging 9 mph at interstate highway speeds of 65 to 70 mph. |

I've been resisting an itch to go trade the little Ranger in on one. If I cave, I'll go for the 5.7 liter engine (381 hp). It actually is rated to get better mpg than the 4.7 liter, although not by much. So far, I've successfully resisted the urge. The little Ranger does everything I need for now. But ... damn it's tough when you get bored and need a new toy. Eisboch |

They really are a nice civilized truck - quiet, comfortable, efficient, well finished, etc. I got an "ARE" fitted cap, painted to match, so it ends up looking like a big sport utility. I would have gotten the 5.7L but it was not available when I bought mine. The 4.7L has plenty of power for everything I do however. Cruising at 75 mph lightly loaded it is only turning about 2500 RPM. Pulling a trailerand boat at 70 with overdrive locked out, it turns about 3200. I got mine with 4wd, off road package, and trailer towing option. |

My wife couldn't sit in it for long either.. It was just too small. Nice truck, had he v6 and got **** for mileage... |

I think my wife would be happy if we never used the travel trailer, as long as it stayed in the driveway where she could go 'decorate' it. |

Worse, she probably doesn't want to be sleeping in that small a space with one of the Seven Pustules. That pustule problem must be driving you crazy. Get some help. Any dermatologist could probably help you out. Is this what your problem looks like? http://tinyurl.com/5hqyds You know, you were quite overweight last time I saw you. The size of your fingers indicates you've not lost much. I'll bet if you went on a diet, did some exercise, quit putting so many hours on that boat, and dropped a couple inches in girth, you'd find the pustule problem go away. |

That would explain a lot. |
