Default NMEA Convert RMC to ZDA?

Doesn't appear to be the case -- For example: Furuno device (navtex) accepts zda
but doesn't even look at RMC...

Ok, the ZDA sentence:

$GPZDA,hhmmss.ss,dd,mm,yyyy,xx,yy*CC

hhmmss = HrMinSec(UTC)
dd,mm,yyy = Day,Month,Year
xx = local zone hours -13..13
yy = local zone minutes 0..59
*CC = checksum

The RMC sentence:

No need to go further - I see what the problem is.

Are you by any chance taking the data and displaying it on a PDA or
analog device?
