Default Well gee - what with all the excitement...

yesterday, I clear forgot to give a report on the day's boating
activities.

The FLW Striper Tour was in New London over this past weekend and some
of the invited factory boats showed up flying their respective flags.

As it happens, I got up close and personal with a couple of really
neat fishing machines made by Fountain, Scarab, Contender and probably
the really nifty boat, a Donzi 38 ZF. Got to ride on the Fountain 38
TE (Verado power) and Scarab 35 Tournament (ETEC power).

These are high power, high performance boats and I was most impressed
by how solid they felt zipping across the waves. It's really
interesting to get the boat trimmed up and feel the chine walk
although you couldn't actually "see" it in the sense that you moved
around a lot inside the boat.

Anyway, I had a big report typed up and got caught up in the great gas
controversy and dumped it.

Sorry. Had a great day though - love those high performance machines.

Well, find the damn thing!

Sounds like a great time.

For excitement today we are going to look at a Casita travel trailer. The
Casita company has no dealerships, but does have volunteers around the
country who will 'show' their trailers. Should be fun.

If the weather holds, I'll take the two Belarussan kids fishing Friday.

John, as you've heard here, it would be VERY irresponsible for you to
take kids fishing, it's WAY too dangerous. Lock them in a room and
teach them to eat like pigs, get fat and chew their fingernails!

Loog, that's old.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter's bad arm, but glad to hear that
she'll soon be able to use the other one.
