Yes! And it's a tiller, so it's easy to take off. There are some
awesome fishing lakes around these parts that gasoline motors aren't
allowed on.




That raises another question. could you be allowed to leave it on and
not use it? Just use electric only?

Or do they want it to be removed so no one is tempted to fire one up?



If memory serves, a 25-hp Merc four cycle weighs about 150 pounds and
probably is bolted on, rather than clamped. The weight is mostly in the
powerhead, and to do the job properly, you need at least a small engine
crane. It's not an outboard you put on and take off a boat like a 3 hp
Evinrude Lightwin.
