Ignore him Don. He is one of the reasons this NG is heading into the trash dumpster. |

Has it occured to anyone that you _can_ not reply to rif raf, not reply to those misguided souls that reply to them, and if you want to be hard, reply only to boating posts. Comments on the state of the NG, while not individually obnoxious, just add to the noise level. Think S/N before you post. Do all this and the problem goes away. Now for the obligatory boating content. I have an 22 ft Alum Cuddy with a Mercruiser 175 hp 4 banger. Does anyone know the engine displacement? Casady |

Saw a similar beast a couple of years back at the mouth of the river. Light as hell, standing room inside, and totally trailerable. Very nice boat. What kind of mileage do you get at cruise? Were do you play? |

Casady 3.0 Liter I would have thought more, I mean that works out to close to one hp per cubic inch. What with a carb, no EFI. On the other hand, 3 liter is pretty big for a four. The boat only cost me two grand, so I can afford a wee taste of gas, even at todays prices. |

I never heard of a 175 HP 4 cylinder Mercruiser but they must be around. |

I never heard of a 175 HP 4 cylinder Mercruiser but they must be around. With 226 CID It has the same size cylinders as a V-8 big block. Given the power, a much more reasonable figure than 3.0 liter. I never heard of it either, but that means nothing. Glad it isn't a big block. Hell, the hull has room for two of those guzzlers. I plan to get two of the most powerful trolling motors made, for cocktail cruises and fishing. Couple of golf cart batteries. Beat the price of gas. Let those of a much younger generation buy the gas if they want to ski. |

It has all the conversions, all the physical constants, and a bunch of equations. 226 cu in. |
