I'll be reading this account with interest. I also owned an18.5 foot
sailboat up till last August ... a Sandpiper 565 (similar to your Sailfish
18) and live in a province that's as close to being an island as can be
without actually being one. (Nova Scotia)
I might suggest that you also post this record where people actually care
about sailing/boating... rec .boats.cruising
