I stumbled on http://www.slideanchor.com/box.asp -- is that for real? no chain & 2:1 scope? Has anyone actually used one of these? I was intregued by the clams, but couldn't find any reviews online -- just marketing stuffs. I have been using the same 15 pound Danforth for fifty years. I used to bury it in the mud with a 110 hp engine, which couldn't drag it. [A Turbocraft, if it matters. First of the jet boats, dating from 58. SN 10] Also used it with a 12 foot duckboat with a 5 hp motor. So why would anyone in their right mind want the box? Casady |
