Get lost, narcissist.

IGNORE him. We've all seen a good example of what this board can be
without him. TOTALLY IGNORE his posts. Do not respond. He'll find
another audience.

What a joke!
Ever since Harry moved onward & upward to 'Chucks Place', a number of
derelicts here in wrecked.boats have been floundering ....
they keep bringing up his name and talking about him...willing him to come
back and pay them the attention they so lack in their everday miserable
lives.
Sad and pathetic, but understandable from the content of their posts.
They have a can't live with him... can't live without him thing going for
Harry.
Keep up the good work! ~~ SNERK ~~

They're obsessed.

I once asked a world renowned intellect why my friends who'd been
consumed with drugs had swung wildly to Jesus. His answer: "People
need something to do."

What these simpletons have to do is Harry. Without him there's a void
since they only know how to react. Creating anything is beyond their
ability.

Hope you're well Don.

Things are going well here... except for the weather.
Every weekend tends to be rainy & cool, although that shouldn't bother me
too much since I'm retired.
I'm getting excited about boating again...even though it will be on a noisy
open aluminum boat this year.
What's happening out your way?

We've had rain for the past three days, pretty heavy at times, and it is
expected to continue for two more days. Cool temps, too...down in the
low 50's right next to Chesapeake Bay. Walked down to the Bay earlier
today, and water was lapping near the tops of the bulkheads. Thought I
saw a "coastal flood warning" on the tube an hour or so ago.

I mowed my lawn Friday. By the time it dries out, it'll be two feet tall.

Harry, you don't care about hearing about other people's goings if
it's not about boats, why would you think we cared about yours? Go
trim your hedges and then tell Chuck's group all about it.

What a notion, retirement!!!

I'm busy making a living, hoping to salt enough money for kid's
college and retirement, wondering if it'll ever come. May move
directly from working to the old folks home.

Dreaming about boating again but have nothing more than a dinghy right
now. Can't image power boating given the pump prices -- I'm no blow
boater...

Thinking single screw diesel but then would have to relearn how to
maneuver... suppose a couple of thrusters might cure the anxiety. The
only thing I'd have to get past at that point is get home power.
Paddling 20K+ lb. isn't a good option.

Are you a Great Lakes guy or further east?

Yup...as far east as you can go without getting wet....... unless you want
to get wet.
Hockey fans might be interested to know that I was in my brother-in-laws
skybox this afternoon watching Canada beat Finland at the world Hockey
Championships.
Had a better seat than Prime Minister Stephen Harper or our Premier
'Fiddlin' Rodney MacDonald. who were down below us sittin' with the common
folk.

Chuck's Place

http://boatingforum.proboards91.com/index.cgi

It's got the beginnings of a good boating forum, and you can post photos
directly into the discussions, too.

There have only been a couple of attempts by a couple of the "derelicts"
here to start trouble there, but they weren't paid much attention there.
Poor babies! I presume if they get out of hand, they'll get dumped.

Anyway, if you like to discuss boats and boating related subjects in a
more than superficial way and without the idiocy and animosity that
still pervades here, Chuck's Place is worth a visit.
