On CNBC this morning, there was a segment on Vista and the guests to a person said Vista is an unmitigated diaster and may be a sign of the begining of the end for Microsoft as a market leader. Well, they have one hell of a long way to go before they are not the market leader, but . . . With a several year build cycle for an OS, they sure as hell can't afford to blow another one. It's also worth noting, MS Office 2007 isn't burning up the sales either, and those are the only two product lines MS makes money on. |
