Yeah, well, when I lived in northern Florida along the ICW, I noticed
any number of wood pole markers not lit up for various reasons. I
thought they were there to slow down the snow bunnies and their
oversized cruisers.

Most FWC signs *are* a hazard to navigation.

No spammer here just checking things out! I love sailing and do sail

The problem is that some of them seem oblivious to what they trail
behind them, and what it can do to the lives or property of others.

It really doesn't get dark anymore until you get pretty far offshore.
Most coastal areas are light up so well you can not only see the
markers, you can read the numbers ... assuming your lights are
properly installed. (dark in the helm area)

They have recently moved some markers and they dont show up on the
GPS. I quess a little bit of rum would help. Just kidding, well maybe
not.

I'm surprised JimH doesn't know who he is in other groups. Maybe he's
simply trying to backpedal his way out of that one.

It might not be JimH, it might be Dennis Compton or JimH's son
pretending to be JimH.
