I got this link from a dirtbike group I monitor.

I am Scotty from SmallBoats.com and I approved this post...

Takes only a minute, thanks... Scotty

The Center for Consumer Freedom, which is sponsoring the petition in
question, is a front group for purveyors of unhealthy food - restaurant
owners for the most part who want to continue selling food high in fat,
sugar, calories and cancer.

Does not change the facts, PETA should not have tax free status...

If you want to fight PETA, which is reasonable enough, you ought to
either start or align with a group that has some integrity and
credibility. The so-called CCF is a front group that has an agenda
staying in the business of selling unhealthy food.

Not anymore, I made the choice to stop smoking. Personal responsibility
it is a difficult concept for you to understand.

This does highlight when a thread goes awry with personal insults.
The problem is that many people don't read by thread, but by subject.
You should try keeping the original subject, but appending something
like - in this case - "Reggie Starts Insulting" to the original
subject.
Can't say what effect it would have, since there are quite a few
people only interested in tossing insults.
But it sure highlighted to me how Reggie inserted himself into a
reasonably civil conversation to add - nothing.
The key is to not reply to the insult with just another insult, unless
you want the newly named thread to continue with further insults.
Of course turnabout is fair play, so you are subject to being pointed
out if you throw an insult.

Disclaimer:

Don't know what effect this has on google groups threading.
Insulting GWB or AGore or a political party is NOT a personal insult.
Don't really care what you guys do, as I don't have to look.
Many times I wish I didn't.
My suggestions are made in the spirit of "game theory" and are not
meant to reflect on any of my personal beliefs or affiliations with
any organization, whether it be political, non-profit, religious,
Communist, Nazi, or any other appellation that may be attached.
Oh, include the Mickey Mouse Club if that doesn't cover it.
