This year's flu bug seems to be almost epidemic. *From what Mrs.E. tells me,
most of our family are sick, half the company's employee's are sick, several
of her friends at the horse joint are sick and the schools are half filled
with kids who have either recovered or haven't been sick yet.

I wouldn't know first hand. *I've holed myself up in a corner of the house
with enough food, water and dog bones for Sam Adams to last until the GB is
launched. *No way am I going out "there" in a community filled with
diseases.

I got the shot earlier. As a caretaker of my 90 yo dad, we do
everything we can to keep from getting the flu which his doctor has
told him would almost certainly be a death sentence. My little one
went down, and I hid for a week too. When anyone gets any kind of
sniffle here, we go into lockdown mode, kids forced to wash hands
several times a day, all take zinc, vacume and filter room air, 24/7
to keep contaminates down. Pretty scarey stuff for guys like me and
dad with resiratory problems to start with...
