Loogy, just so you don't forget...I thanked you for that recipe, but since
you said you'd post the 'real' one next time you made those fritters, I'm
going to be waiting for it.
In the meantime, I came across this one, which 'cheats' a little!
CORN FRITTERS * *
1 c. Bisquick
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 can corn, drained
Combine all ingredients and let stand 5 minutes. Fry in deep hot fat a
teaspoonful for each fritter. Turn when browned on one side. Serve with
syrup or honey.
BTW, do you eat yours with syrup, or is that a yankee thing, like milk on
grits?

That's it! One egg. I forgot the damned egg!!! The ones I know how to
make don't need deep grease, just enough to fry like a pancake.
